Daring forms, taut lines, sophisticated materials and subtle graphical elements. Marie Jo L'Aventure lingerie exudes the design principle. To accentuate this, next winter we initiate a design line in association with a selection of guest designers, all trendsetters in their field.
No one less than Antwerp designer duo A.F. Vandevorst inspired the first Marie Jo L'Aventure design series.
Innovative, with minimalist lines and a layered composition. A powerful urban chic statement.
So how do designers and artists see the lingerie of the future? That's the question the new, exclusive Marie Jo L'Aventure collection asks. A.F. Vandevorst's An Vandevorst and Filip Arickx were given free rein to answer.
The Marie Jo L'Aventure by A.F. Vandevorst collection is based on a pièce unique created by the designers. An art object comprising three wooden dummies, attired with felt corsages. Elements are added or removed like a three-dimensional puzzle. No seams – only copper split pins. Resulting in a modular object that pays homage to woman and her lingerie.
Based on this pièce unique, in collaboration with A.F. Vandevorst the Marie Jo L'Aventure stylists designed a striking collector's collection: Marie Jo L'Aventure by A.F. Vandevorst.
A.F. Vandevorst is a Belgian designer team that shows their collections every season at Paris fashion week. Their creations sell around the world. Their trademarks are a pure style that balances the masculine and the feminine, clearly expressing the two sides to this duo.
Filip Arickx and Ann Vandevorst, who are partners outside of business too, met each other at Antwerp's famous fashion academy. After a number of years under such designers as Dries Van Noten, in 1998 they decided to work on their own collection. Two years later Anna Wintour, editor in chief of American Vogue, called them ‘the new class for the new millennium'. In addition to a clothing collection, A.F. Vandevorst also produces a successful footwear line.
The A.F. Vandevorst pièce unique will make a European tour. Admire it at a location near you!

Because women's health is close to our hearts.
