How do I work out my size?

Measuring yourself sounds easy. First, measure snugly around your rib cage just below your breasts and under your arms, keeping the tape measure straight all the way around. If the result is between 74 and 77 cm, your chest size is 75 (European sizes). If it’s between 78 and 83 cm your chest size is 80.

Now measure loosely around your breasts, again keeping the tape measure straight all the way around your body. The difference between the two measurements provides important information about your cup size. If it is less than 16 cm, try an A cup. If it’s 17-18 cm try a B cup, if it’s 19-20 cm try a C cup, and so on.

That’s great in theory, but you rarely get this right when you measure yourself. We recommend visiting a specialist lingerie retailer to get a professional to do it. The added advantage of this is that you can then try on a number of different bras.
