Why are bra wires always made of iron or steel? 

The wiring under the cups is responsible for the support provided by a bra and the attractive round form of the cup. It’s very important then that the wiring is strong and durable. Metal certainly fits the bill there. 

The wires are a vital part of the bra. We use concave wires that hug the natural contours of the body. They also provide more support when the bra is tense, whereas straight wires will start to pinch. 

Wires will only make your breasts look beautifully round if you wear the right sized bra. When you fasten the bra they bend open just a bit, embracing the breast. All things being equal, you shouldn’t even feel them. If they are too small they will nick the breast tissue. If they are too big however they will nick you under the armpit. That’s another reason why it’s so important to where the right bra size. 

To improve your comfort, our wires are covered by an extra two layers of material and a silicone strip. It feels so much softer you’d hardly know the wires are there.
